A nice, long weekend filled with cozy fires, good company, wine, laughter, and of course, snowboarding. The mountain conditions weren’t as I had hoped, but there were a few good memorable runs in there between the icy patches and blistering cold weather.
First snowboarding runs of the season (and cozy fires) this weekend in Stratton, VT. I left with 1 ultimate shiner on my knee, 3 small bruises on the other knee, a sore back and left wrist, a left arm I can barely lift above the height of my shoulder, and best of all, a ton of great memories. :)
Adding Beaver Creek to my #2013Travel list. Thanks to one of my favorite domestic travel magazines, Departures.
