Almost ten years ago, I took my first trip to Europe with my parents over Christmas break. We spent a week+ traveling all over the Southeast coast of Spain. The time passed with small touristy activities here and there, but best of all, we didn’t really have an agenda. We allowed yourselves to get lost and discover what this amazing country had to offer.
To this day, I love going back to Spain and uncovering hidden gems, all of which are equally as stunning as the last. Galicia, you’re up next in my Spanish adventures. #2013Travel

I have a theory about doors. I believe it is highly unlikely you will ever see the same door twice no matter what city or country you happen to be in. Here is one of my favorites. I shot it with a mini Diana in Tossa de Mar in Spain.

Back from quite possibly the best holiday I’ve ever experienced! The pics above are from Tossa de Mar in Spain. If I close my eyes and take a deep breath, I can imagine myself there again…

Also, if you’re in Barcelona or planning to travel there, here are a couple great restaurant recommendations:

1) Cornelia and Co in Eixample

2) Catalan Cerveseria on C. de Mallorca

When I visited Tarragona, Spain in 2002, I did not know about this tradition that occurs every two years. It’s a Catalan tradition where “castellers” gather to see who can build the tallest, most creative human castles. It reminds me a lot of the dance company, Pilobolus.
